Ten Moldova's industrial parks have attracted investment of 53.4 million lei in the first half year of 2017. Furthermore, this figure represents over 1.1 billion lei in period of six years, according to the report Investment and Competitive Policy Division by the Economy Ministry.

The report additionally says that production volume achieved by the industrial park residents increased by over 43%, reaching 781.3 million lei, and the volume of taxes and fees paid increased by over 102%.

On June 30, industrial parks employed 2714 people, 559 more than in the same period last year.

Since 2011, 10 industrial parks have been set up in Moldova, with 60 economic agents - PI "Tracom" and PI "FAIP" (Chisinau municipality), PI "Răut" (the city Balti), PI "Cimişlia" (Cimișlia), PI "Edineţ" (Edinet), PI "Comrat", Comrat, PI "CAAN" and PI "Triveneta Cavi Divelopment" (Strășeni), "Bioenergagro "(Drochia town) and PI" Cahul "(Cahul).
