A former cop was detained by the NAC and anti-corruption officers. The man is suspected of involving in the money transfer to an office of National Investigation Inspectorate with the purpose of arrest avoidance of some offenders in criminal cases.

According to witnesses and documentation by the CNA, the sum of bribes claimed for police and other unidentified people would be estimated at 10,000 euros at the moment.

Today CNA officers and anti-corruption prosecutors carry out several criminal prosecution in a corruption case targeting lots of people, including INI employees.

The searches are carried out in Chisinau and Drochia.
