Interviews of four candidates for general prosecutor to take place on Nov 28
The Superior Council of Prosecutors (CSP) admitted at today’s meeting all four candidates selected by the commission of the Ministry of Justice at the contest for prosecutor general position.
The interviews of the four candidates were decided to take place on November 28, at 10.00.
Four candidates were elected after the competition held by the Justice Ministry: Veaceslav Soltan, Alexandr Stoianoglo, Oleg Crîșmaru and Vladislav Gribincea.
The list of candidates was sent to CSP by new Justice Minister Fadei Nagacevschi on 18 November. He announced that he recognizes the results of the contest, considering it legal, although his predecessor, Olesea Stamati, had canceled it at the beginning of last week.
The CSP will select a candidate from the four proposed names and will submit for approval to the head of state.
