Ion Ceban will suspend the mandate of party member when he becomes Chisinau Mayor?
Socialist candidate Ion Ceban announces to give up the mandate of party member when the validity of the mandate of Chisinau mayor is confirmed. The statement is made in a press briefing on Monday.
Meanwhile, Ion Ceban insists on creating an alliance in the Chisinau Municipal Council with bloc ACUM.
"We have 22 mandates, bloc ACUM - 19. I know that we will have a concrete plan to solve all the problems and I propose to share these responsibilities", Ceban also mentioned about the district praetors and vice mayors.
The future mayor also proposes to modify the legislature so that CMC can have a permanent president.
"I'm willing to cooperate with all advisers who don't have the integrity problem and want to modernize the Moldovan capital. I rely on the support and involvement. There are many problems and we must resolve them. We have the possibility to have an alliance in the council", said Ceban.
According to him, there are several domains set as high priorities such as:
- the construction and road repair
- the completeness of general urban plan
- the development and modernization of housing fund
- the increase of salary and social assistance
- the creation of jobs
- the modernization of kindergartens and schools
- the fight against corruption
