Ion Chicu: Public health emergency declaration could be extended until September 15
The state of public health emergency, which expires at the end of this month, could be extended until 15 September. Prime Minister Ion Chicu announced that he will come up with a proposal in this regard to the Extraordinary National Commission for Public Health.
"The number of new cases has increased significantly. The number of places in hospitals is limited, we are already exceeding it. Please, all respect the sanitary-epidemiological rules ", declared PM Ion Chicu.
We tried to find out when the meeting of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission will take place, but the prime minister's adviser, Boris Harea, only told us that the decision will be published tonight.
The state of emergency in public health was established in the Republic of Moldova on May 16 and extended several times.
