The Health Ministry has set alarm that more than one thousand inadequate indemnities have been offered in several localities, following the checks. 

Many Moldovans have received higher allowances than they were. That's because the beneficiaries did not correctly indicate the income. They are to repay the state's money, and the total amount to be paid is over 1.4 million lei. So far, nearly 300,000 lei have been reimbursed.

At the same time, several cases were recorded when people received smaller allowances. Now the state is going to pay the beneficiaries the difference that amounts to half a million lei.

Those fail to return money will risk punishment. 

At present, nearly 56,000 Moldovans receive social assistance.
