The Moldovan police have detained two Israelis aged 45 and 60 for drugs smuggling.
The two are deemed to be part of an international criminal group. They came as businessmen intending to grow medical plants.
They rented a house in Chisinau and installed a greenhouse there.
They imported cannabis seeds from the Netherlands and grew the plants in order to sell them in Russia and EU countries.
The police discovered, at the place, 375 plants of cannabis and about 300 pots.
If successful, the suspects were to get 100 kg of narcotics, which would be sold for 200,000 euros.
If found guilty, the suspects may serve jail terms from 3 to 7 years.
