Japanese investments in medical equipment for Moldovan hospitals
Many Moldovan hospitals have been endowed with 1,200 units of cutting-edge equipment, bought with the support of the Japanese Government, for the last three years.
The Emergency Medicine Institute has benefited from the largest part, amounting to 800 million lei.
A Japanese delegation has paid a visit to the Institute to learn of the situation of the equipment.
The Moldo-Japanese relations in the healthcare field have speeded up since 2013, when Moldova was accepted in the JIKA project.
Within the project, five hospitals from Moldova’s capital and 11 healthcare centers from the country have been endowed with high-performance equipment.
