Joint border control between Moldova and Ukraine will begin in June. The announcement was made by the Ministry of External Affairs from Kiev, who made a recap of this week's Border Commission's meeting.
Kiev mentioned that the Commission's next meeting will take place in the second half of the year and will be held in Republic of Moldova.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Pavel Filip has met with President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, in the neighbor country.
President of Ukraine signed the agreement on joint border control in the presence of Pavel Filip.
The two officials have congratulated each other and agreed to continue working together on this subject.
