Five years after Vitalie Proca accepted Usatîi's order to assassinate the Russian banker, Gherman Gorbuntov, the killer let the cat out of the bag.

Proca admitted in the interview for Jurnal TV reason he accused Plahotniuc of having organized the assassination. 

All people involved the attack such as victim Gorbunțov and organizers Ion Druţă alias Pisateli, and Valentin Halupa, admitted Renato Usatîi had conducted the attempted assassination. 

Coincidentally, after that attack, all the assets as well as house of the banker became property of Usatâi, writes Telegraph.md.

What the press in Chisinau did not want to see is a very sincere statement that Proca escaped. Although he was kept in jail, he understood how the politics was going on in Chisinau. 

Proca admitted the reason why he accused Plahotniuc:

"It's simple to take down a politician. In my case, a man with a criminal record, a murderer to dirty him, it's very simple, just develop the subject as you wish" , Proca said.

The killer was right. Immediately after his free interview for Jurnal TV, a large part of the press in Chisinau began to put Plahotniuc in the attempt to kill Gorbuntov. And the so-called investigative press began to develop the idea starting from Proca's statements, without taking into account declaration of Pisateli or Halupa.

Incidentally or not, Proca admitted what the people close to Balti Mayor had denied, that it was Usatīi who "protects" them and "bears all accommodation and maintenance costs".

Even so, the press in Chisinau has not rushed to ask Renato Usatii why he would associate the name of a killer and especially why he helped him. Yet Usatii wants to be a politician, and Proca a murderer. To explain to people what made you trust a man who killed on command is a little difficult.
