Last day for flower carpet from Cathedral Square to be admired
Today is the last day for the Capital residents to admire the flower carpet from the Cathedral Square. Within the City Hall session, Silvia Radu, the interim of the Capital thanked everybody who were involved in this project.
"Even if the politicians tried to manipulate and spread lies about this project, I think that Chisinau was even discussed in the international press", declared Silvia Radu.
The two hundred flowers will be planted in the Capital parks.
"The majority of the plants will be kept in two public gardens, Stefan cel Mare and Cathedral Park. 60 thousand flowers will be planted in other parks", said Galina Leahu, the representatives of Green Spaces.
The chief of Green Spaces appealed to the Capital residents and urged them to help, if they want a more beautiful city.
"In case somebody will park their cars on the flowers, they will be fined", declared Leahu.
Silvia Radu wants to organize a Flowers Festival starting next year.
