The project to reduce pressure upon business environment was discussed with development partners and businessmen.

During the meeting, hosted by Prime Minister Pavel Filip, it was established that the initial project must be modified. Justice Ministry, with the support of the Economic Council, has exclude from the document multiple dubious points.

Therefore, the project was divided into two parts. The first containing crucial requirements, requested by the business environment, while the second part views the institutional framework and legal structures.

The idea to reduce abuse upon business belongs to Democratic Party of Moldova. The law foresees changes in the sanction system, which will be approved by the Government, after it is debated at the Parliament.

Last year, the Government reduced the number of control institutions from 58 to 18, while the number of necessary documents dropped by 60%.
