Maia Sandu and Andrei Nastase attended the invitation of the head of state, Igor Dodon, to take part in consultations with party leaders who obtained the most MPs after the February 24th elections.

The two came along with several party colleagues and sat at a table with Dodon.

However, Sandu and Nastase refused to shake hands with the head of state when they arrived at the State Residence.
