A Moldovan has been detained for asking for EUR20,000 from the mother of an indicted man, in order to spare him from getting jailed for murder.

The suspect has asked for the money saying it is for a committee from the Psychiatry Hospital, which can find the indicted insane.

The case has been documented for months, as the parties were negotiating the amount and the benefits.

If he is found guilty, the suspect faces a fine of up to $10,000 or imprisonment from 2 to 6 years.
