A 30-year-old man has been detained for smuggling of detergents and selling them on Izmail street in the Capital. 

Police officers asked him to present the documents of origin and certification of products of suspected counterfeit detergents, but the man had none.

Thus, goods worth of 7,200 lei were seized until the court's decision.

The actions are carried out within the activities planned by the Chisinau Police Department, on protecting the rights of consumers and manufacturers.

The man risks a fine of up to 3,000 lei.
