A driver was detained by the patrol inspectors, while he was driving on the sidewalk with excessive speed and with a beacon on his car.

According to the NPI representatives, the car was seen by the police on the 31 December morning. The driver refused to stop and was driving ahead to intersection between Ismail and Kogalniceanu streets, where he hit a car that was parked on the sidewalk. After that, the driver was stopped and detained on intersection between Independentei and Traian streets from Botanica sector of the Capital.

At the wheel of the car was a 34 year old man, who is a Capital citizen. At the place of the incident came the patrol inspectors for emergency situations, to inspect the circumstances of the case.
