Has invested all money earned abroad in one of the oldest occupations: manufacturing of skins. We are talking about a man from Slobozia Mare village, Cahul district, which managed to start a business very asked abroad. The man manufactures sheepskin coat, winter slippers and auto bonnets.

Dumitru Zaporojan has opened his workshop five years ago. He has learned the secrets of the handicraft in Russia, while he was working there.

From a sheepskin can be manufactured two pairs of winter slippers for children or one for adults. Still, most asked are auto bonnets, selling at a price of 500 lei.

After three years of activity, the man has managed to expand his business abroad, especially in Russia and Romania.

Dumitru Zaporojan wants to expand his business even more. He says that he needs at least 20,000 euro for the procurement of modern equipment.
