Many rescuers and firefighters were awarded for flood cleanup in June
Civil Protection Leadership and Emergencies (CPESS) has awarded 11 firefighters and rescuers with diplomas today, who participated in liquidation of consequences of floods in June this year, writes Moldpres.md .
"In gratitude to conscientious duties exercised during liquidation of emergency situations, employees CPESS were awarded with 'I Merit Cross Class' medals and diplomas of gratitude for the work they have done to transport materials construction and repair roofs destroyed by hail. Some of them have received degrees ahead of schedule" , writes a press release of CPESS.
In June, several localities across the country have been affected by torrential rains accompanied by hail and strong winds. Following, adverse weather conditions have destroyed hundreds of hectares of crops have been flooded several towns in the southern districts of the country and several houses were destroyed.
