Mayor of Bucharest, Gabriela Firea will pay a visit to Chisinau
Mayor of Bucharest, Gabriela Firea, will arrive in Moldova this evening. Tomorrow, she will meet with her counterpart from Chisinau, Silvia Radu, afterward the two officials will visit Onisifor Ghibu Library and Mihai Eminescu Lyceum that will be renovated with money offered by Romania.
"The money required for repair works were already calculated. The expenses are of 14 million 500 lei. If we taken into account the block used as primary school, where the electrical network has to be changed, the number rises to 25 million lei" Deputy Mayor of the Capital, Ruslan Codreanu said.
Bucharest City Hall is also willing to finance repair works of the Municipal Hospital No. 1.
"The main maternity ward, one of 5 million and one of 3 million, also contains a 4-floor pediatric ward. Only the interior works will cost 15 million lei, while if added exterior rehabilitation and roof it amounts to 20 million lei" Deputy Mayor of Chisinau, Nistor Grozavu said.
After visiting Chisinau, Bucharest will decide how much money it will offer for those works. Authorities from Romania will also offer a 19 million lei grant to renovate the stairs from Valea Morilor park.
Three weeks ago, during an official visit to Bucharest, Silvia Radu signed with Gabriela Firea multiple projects, among which counts two buses donation, as well as our doctors participating in training offered by hospitals from Romania.
