Medical centers, being renovated, to push up service quality
Medical institutions in Moara de Piatră village, Drochia district and Taraclia town are now being renovated.
While there is a family clinic built on the aground and equipped with all necessary things in the northern Moldova, an emergency medical assistance was repaired and opened now in the south.
These renovations were inspired to provide benefits for 1400 inhabitants of Moara de Piatră. A family medical center was built here to ensure best service for citizens.
"The family doctors' office was arranged in an old building and could not offer high quality services," said Drochia district's president, Vasile Gradinaru.
The construction of the new office, over two million lei, lasted almost three years. The fund was allocated by the National Health Insurance Company as well as by the local authorities.
Another Urgency medical center is located in the building of the Taraclia Public Health Center in the town of Taraclia (southern Moldova). The cost of repair works amounts to 1.5 million lei.
The new substation is equipped with modern medical equipment, bedrooms and washing machines.
"We make every effort to create conditions for our employees and to improve the quality of services provided to the citizens," CNAMUP logistics director, Vasile Cucu, said.
In total, there are almost 130 sub-stations of Emergency Medical Assistance in the country. Only 15 percent of them are appropriately equipped, and by 2020 all these medical institutions will be repaired.
