Moldovan hospitals are closer and closer to European standards. Today, April 4th, the Allergy department of the Mother and Child Institute was inaugurated, with the support of Romania.

The total cost was of 2.3 million lei. The repair works were carried out over two years. 

Doctors now say that the chances of treating patients will increase.

The Department of Cardiology and microbiological laboratory will also be renovated shortly.

Overall, Romania has offered 2.5 million euros to modernize the Institute of Mother and Child.

Annually, over one thousand children are hospitalized at the Department of Allergology of the Institute of Mother and Child.
