Medicine and Pharmacy University issues communiqué after a group of foreign students arrested for drug trafficking
A group of foreign students was arrested and escorted to the National Inspectorate of Investigation (NII) in a case of drug trafficking scheme. The State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu" has been notified and issues a communiqué.
Accordingly, the university is working with the investigative bodies in order to elucidate all the circumstances of crime committed by foreign citizens, students.
The operation is in full swing and the university can not provide more details than those reported by the officials of the Drug Enforcement Directorate of the NII, to ensure the secrecy of the investigation.
The State University condemns any behavior that contravenes the moral and legal norms.
According to art. 42 of the University Charter regarding the rights and obligations of the doctors: “Students who do not comply with the provisions of the normative acts in force and / or of the internal acts of the University are liable to sanction, according to the gravity of the deed, according to the internal documents of the University, including by matriculation ”.
The students risk being expelled and are liable to sanction in accordance with the law if their guilt is proved.
