The best doctors and pharmacists were congratulated yesterday on the occasion of their professional day. They were awarded prizes and diplomas for their work and sacrifice.

1,800 medics came from all over Moldova to attend a concert in Chisinau.

Health Minister Ruxanda Glavan congratulated her colleagues: "We have proven we can jointly find solutions to better the healthcare system. My dear colleagues, let’s make efforts to make people regain their trust in the healthcare system.”

She said the hospital reform was to be endorsed in several weeks and she hoped the profession would become more attractive for the youth.
