Members of Parliament to attend last plenary session of this year

The second ordinary session of 2016 ends on 23 December, according to the decision of the Parliament Standing Bureau. MPs will return from holiday on 16 January 2017.
This week MPs will meet in plenary sessions on December 22 and 23.
The agenda includes about 24 subjects, including the report on the management and use of public funds and public property, presented by the Court, a bill that will provides the increase of allowances at birth, and a decision on the establishment special Committee to streamline the legal framework on child nutrition in preschool institutions and schools.
If MPs will support the decision, the special committee will evaluate the nutrition of children in schools and kindergartens, will examine irregularities and violations identified and will identify legislative solutions that will improve the process of selecting economic operators for supplying food to schools and kindergartens.
