On the occassion of the Independence Day, Moldovan Ambassadors in Chisinau wished Moldova to achieve more goals and prosperity. They laid flowers at the monument of Stephen the Great and Saint, and some of them posted congratulatory messages on Facebook.

The Ambassador of the United States of America to Chisinau, Dereck J. Hogan, posted a video congratulating the Moldovans. He speaks Romanian and lists how the United States supported Moldova in the fight against the pandemic. Dereck Hogan says the United States will be with Moldova especially before the presidential election.

HOGAN, US Ambassador to Moldova: "We will closely monitor the state of affairs in the context of the upcoming presidential elections, to ensure that all possible measures are taken, that elections are free, fair and transparent. Citizens of the Republic of Moldova deserve sincere and responsible leaders. They deserve the freedom to make lives better, both for themselves and for future generations. "

A congratulatory message also came from the European Union Delegation in Chisinau. In a post on Facebook, they wish Moldova and its citizens to reach more prosperity. 

On the occasion of this important day, Ambassador Daniel Ioniţă also reminded that Romania was the first state to recognize the independence of Moldova.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova spoke in Romanian about the importance of the partnership between two countries.

On the National Day, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Moldova, Oleg Vasnetov, congratulated the Moldovan leadership. A post on Facebook states that Russia will continue to build lasting cooperative relations with the country.
