Minister Chiril Gaburici: Economic agents are encouraged to see the Ministry and explain how we can help them
"There can be no culture without a strong economy. A strong economy means jobs, families that do not move abroad, more work from economic agents who wish to develop. I was pleasantly surprised to see in Soroca over 50 economic agents, who created around 2 000 workplaces. Therefore, I encourage everyone to see the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and explain how we can help, to develop your enterprise and increase the number of jobs" Minister of Economy and Infrastructure Chiril Gaburici said at the opening of the „Produs de Soroca” (Made in Soroca) fair.
The event marks its first edition and aims to promote products and services from Soroca, make citizens more familiar with the local economic agents and establish new partnerships. Within the fair, over 50 economic agents and craftsmen presented their products and services, such as equipment, wooden furniture, industrial goods, ceramic items, shoes, clothes and food products.
Minister of Economy and Infrastructure visited stands and spoke with economic agents regarding encountered difficulties, gained success and development perspectives they have, including growth of product, which will cause new jobs to be opened and double the revenue.
On his way to Soroca, Minister Chiril Gaburici informed himself of the activity and development program of International Free Airport Mărculești. Minister of Economy and Infrastructure spoke with the airport's staff of the encountered difficulties, opportunities offered by the enterprise, as well as the plans for its developments.
"We must analyze all possibilities to modernize Mărculești Airport and develop infrastructure, to uncover its full potential. The airport's residents benefit from customs and fiscal facilities and have the right to unfold multiple types of activities. Moreover, the airport is placed in a favorable zone, being connected to economic and commercial roads, which creates facilities for investors. It is the sole airport that has access to both airway, railway and roads" Minister Chiril Gaburici said.
The official reiterated that the institution is interested in foreign investors, willing to share their experience necessary to reform the airport and develop the air cargo and passenger services at the highest level.
