Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure begun elaborating the National Development Strategy Moldova 2030
Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure is the first institution that launched the process of elaborating the National Development Strategy "Moldova 2030". The sitting was led by general secretary of state of Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Iulia Costin.
According to the official, the elaboration of the strategy is a major priority for the Government for the next two months, a period when administrative authorities will have to input plenary effort.
Iulia Costin mentioned that, compared to previous national development strategies, "Moldova 2030" will be completely different.
"The new strategy will be concentrated on enhancing the standard of living, which will constitute the final result of the Government's policies.The strategy will be based on 10 long term points and will take into account the objective of Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 and the points included in the EU Association Agreement" Iulia Costin said.
Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure is responsible for elaborating the 1st and 2nd objectives in the field of economy and infrastructure, as well as regional and rural development.
To ensure a transparent process and that all aims are reachable, two working groups were established, including representatives of central and local public administration, researches and businessmen, development partners and civil society.
During today's sitting, members of the Group responsible of economy have spoken about the economic priorities, among which counts the increase in revenue gained from sustainable sources. Tomorrow, March 16, at the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure will be held a session of the Group responsible for infrastructure, regional and rural development.
The National Development Strategy Moldova 2030 will be elaborated by the end of April.
