The Ministry of Education has reacted after a teacher was arrested being suspected of perverse actions towards children in Ungheni village.

"The Ministry of Education considers the case registered at an educational institution in Ungheni as extremely serious.

In this context, we inform that the Ministry of Education has urgently requested explanations from the local authority, the director of educational institution.

The case will be monitored, and the Ministry of Education will insist on the application of disciplinary sanctions.

The person is suspended and will be punished according to the Criminal Code if found guilty" , says the statement.
