Moldova stands in the top 15 cheapest countries to live in all over the world, according to a survey conducted by the US financial site GoBankingRates, Moldova presents in the 15th position. In order to achieve the report, purchasing power as well as rent and food prices were taken into account. All figures were compared to those in New York.
The report also mentions that a person living in Chisinau spends an average of $330 per month, renting a one-room apartment costs him $200.
The top three cheapest countries for living are: South Africa, India and Kosovo. At the opposite is the Bermuda islands, followed by the Bahamas and Hong Kong. The list includes 112 countries.
