Moldova is among the countries with a high number of infertile men, an issue that directly affects the birth rate in our country. The conclusion belongs to the World Health Organization, which conducted a study in this regard.

According to doctors, among the causes of male infertility include sexually transmitted diseases, uncontrolled use of steroids, alcohol abuse, smoking, and injuries that have affected the reproductive pathways.

Many men hide their infertility, and some do not even think they have such a disease.

One of the causes of male infertility are dermatology diseases. 

The head of Andrology Centre, Cucu Igor says that many men who suffer from infertility get late to the doctor.

Every third case of infertility can not be treated. Thus, couples resort to sperm donors, surrogate mothers or in vitro fertilization. According to the World Health Organization, male infertility is proved in 60-per-cent of couples situation where no children are born.
