Moldova and Georgia unite forces on European road
The Prime minister of Moldova, Pavel Filip had a meeting today, in Tbilisi with the Georgia President of the Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze. The officials discussed about a future cooperation between the countries and within the international organizations.
Within the dialogue, Pavel Filp and Irakli Kobahidze mentioned the connection between those two countries, that are stronger after 25 years of cooperation. In the context, those two mentioned their collaboration on the European Integration segment. The officials talked about the Summit of East Partnership from Bruxelles, which proved that Georgia and Republic of Moldova have the same objectives of the development of the relationship with EU.
Pavel Filip and Irakli Kobakhidze made a change of oppinios according to the importance of the territorial conflicts solving. They expressed their support according to the sovereignty and territory integration of those two countries. In this order, the Moldovan Prime Minister said how important the regional solidarity in the conflicts solving is.
Also, the officials mentioned the 22% growth in the trade sphere between the countries, in eight months. In this sense, there was mentioned the importance of the Moldo-Georgian Intergouvernmental commission for trade cooperation.
At the same time, Pavel Filip and Irakli Kobahidze confirmed the interest for opening a Georgian Embassy in Moldova.
