Moldova and Hungary examine potential collaboration in diplomatic field
Secretary of State of MAE IE, Carolina Perebinos has met with director of the Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Márton Schőberl.
The Institute for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary also acts as a think tank on foreign affairs, conducting research, elaborating studies and reports on various topics related to Hungary's foreign policy.
The Institute makes a valuable contribution to the formation and maintenance of a network of professional experts in foreign policy and international trade, as well as to raising public awareness on these issues.
In an exchange of views on the work of the respective Institute, Secretary of State Carolina Perebinos expressed the interest of MAE IE in establishing a collaboration with this institution in the context of the continuous professionalisation of diplomatic staff in our country.
In turn, director Márton Schőberl noted that the scope of expertise and analysis of the field of international relations offers the possibility of focusing on key directions that are of interest to the foreign policy of a state, the elaboration of current recommendations, and the formation of public opinion. The Hungarian expert also mentioned that the institution he represents is open to a collaboration with the MFA IE.
Director of the Foreign Affairs and Trade Institute of Hungary, Márton Schőberl, will be in Chisinau from May 3-4, 2018 and will hold a workshop for Moldovan diplomats in the process of creating the Moldovan Diplomatic Institute.
