The meeting of intergovernmental commission Moldova - Qatar for economic, trade and technical cooperation for 2018 represents an important step in intensifying the bilateral relations between Moldova and Qatar. The declaration was made by Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi during a meeting with Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Chisinau, Mohammed bin Ali Al Malk.

Minister Ulianovschi believes that organizing such a meeting will strengthen the collaboration in the areas of economy, culture and other sectors, as well as expand the legal basis for cooperation in these areas.

Ambassador of the State of Qatar reiterated his country's interest in expanding the bilateral cooperation with Republic of Moldova in various fields, mentioning that a reunion of the intergovernmental commission will be an efficient platform to strengthen Moldova - Qatar collaboration.

During the meeting, the two officials have spoken of bilateral cooperation, mentioning the common interest in developing them in various areas, both bilateral, as well as multilateral.
