Moldova becomes 84th WTO member to ratify Trade Facilitation Agreement
Deputy Premier and Economy Minister Octavian Calmîc has presented the directorate of the World Trade Organization the ratification instrument of the Trade Facilitation Agreement by Moldova.
Thus, Moldova becomes the 84th WTO member out of 164, which contributes to apply and implement this Agreement in the world trade system.
WTO general director Roberto Azevêdo has greeted the decision of the Moldovan authorities to ratify the Agreement, highlighting it opens new opportunities of access to assistance and technical support funds for this country as to the developing of infrastructure, training customs officers and easing procedures of customs transit of goods.
