Moldova bids its stakes in THESE companies

The Moldovan government auctions 21 companies, starting today.
The state’s portfolios in these companies will get bids till March 31, as the expected total amount of over MDL702 mn ($35 mn.)
The state bids the cognac producer Barza Albă, the cigarette maker Tutun-CTC, the hotel Chişinău, the carpet maker Floare-Carpet and the glass maker Glass Container Company.
Barza Albă is bid for MDL314,437,000.
Tutun-CTC sells its 90-per-cent stake at MDL295 mn.
The state hopes to gain 1,162,000 lei from selling the hotel Chisinau.
Floare-Carpet, in which the state holds more than half of shares, is bid for MDL44 mn.
Glass Container Company’s starting price is MDL29 mn.
