Moldova celebrates State Flag Day (PHOTO REPORT)
Republic of Moldova is celebrating State Flag Day. For this occasion, various events will take place in Chisinau.
The event was started by the flower layer at the Minister of Internal Affairs and the monument of the soldiers who died. Then, the minister and the army chiefs, veterans and employees went to the monument of the policemen from Valea Morilor Park.
Also, the honor guard of MAI presented an unusual program.

The State Flag of the Republic of Moldova was officially designated on 27 April 1990 by late deputy Gheorghe Ghimpu.
20 years later, Parliament of the Republic of Moldova voted to name this date State Flag Day.
At the end of the 80s, Tricolor became the symbol of national rebirth.
The blue represents hope and stability, yellow for material and spiritual values and red for eternal fire and blood shed in the name of freedom.
