Moldova citizens might soon get rid of roaming in EU, Ukraine and Georgia
Iurie Leancă, President of Parliamentary Council for European Integration has announced that the Easter Partnership Summit, which takes place in Brussels, might debate the topic of canceling roaming for Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine within the member states of European Union.
At the same time other topics important for citizens can be found on the agenda.
"We speak of the customs union, energy union, Schengen area obligations that will be discussed at the summit, so that those topics will become a part of our dialogue with European Union" Iurie Leancă declared.
If the project regarding roaming will be approved, citizens of Moldova will be able to call, send text messages and use mobile data when traveling in EU, Georgia and Ukraine at the same rate as home.
Easter Partnership Summit will take place in Brussels on November 24.
