Moldova enters elections fever for the presidential elections which will take place on 20 October 2016. Since today, 31 august 206, the initiative groups, which will collect signatures for the support of nominees, can apply for registration at CEC.

The electoral authority will examine the documents during a period of three days since the moment of the application. The initiative groups which might be registered at CEC until 9 September will be composed of at most 100 Moldovan citizens with the right to vote.

The members of the group will have a leader and can collect signatures only for one nominee.
