Moldova prior partner for EU within the Est Partnership
Moldova is a prior partner for European Union within the Est Partnership. The EU supports Republic of Moldova and offers financial help very often.
The declaration was made by Andi Cristea deputy, within the fifth reunion of the Association Committee of Republic of Moldova and European Union in Strasbourg.
Cristea presented a report of the Republic of Moldova's success after they signed the Association Agreement.
He invited his colleagues within the European Parliament at a constructive discussion.
''We should have a debate based on concrete elements. We should find out what doesn't work and what else to develop. We shouldn't underestimate the complexity of the problems. The reforms in the election systems can provoke divisions within the democratic development'', said Andri Cristea.
In his speech, the deputy President of the Parliament form Chisinau, Iurie Leanca said he hopes that within this reunion, they will approve the first trance of investments.
''I think we wouldn't be able to pass our problems, to strengthen the institutions, fight against corruption without European support'', said Iurie Leanca
Andi Cristea and Iurie Leanca will preside the discussion that will take place today in Strasbourg. The Parliamentary Committee was created in 2015, a year after the Association Agreement.
