106 million dollars has been sent to our country from abroad in this August, around a million dollars more than July.

National Bank data show that last month, most of the money, nearly 51 percent, was raised in dollars. Nearly 39 per cent - in euros, and a little over ten per cent - in Russian rubles.

Regarding sender countries, Russia accounts for 36 per cent, while EU countries constitute 33 per cent. 

16 per cent remittance is sent from Israel and United States makes up almost 8 per cent. 

In the first eight months of the year, remittance sent to Moldova reaches over 760 million dollars.
