Moldova, Turkey to stimulate trade exchanges

Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Galbur, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration met on 18 February the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, within the frames of Security Conference in Munich, Moldpres informs.
During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the relations of Moldovan-Turkish cooperation, pointing out their common interest of developing in various fields, as in bilateral aspects, so in multilateral ones.
Special emphasis was placed on the need to boost trade under the Free Trade Agreement between Moldova and Turkey, which entered into force on 01 November 2016. Also, the interlocutors highlighted a number of joint events planned for 2017.
Andrei Galbur Minister reiterated the invitation to his Turkish counterpart to pay an official visit to Moldova.
