Moldova will cooperate with Romania on field of renewable energy
A cooperation memorandum on renewable energy was signed today in Chisinau, between the Biomass Energy Cluster from Moldova and the Green Energy from Romania, within the European Week of the Renewable Energy.
The event targets to use the renewable energy as much as possible.
"The biomass subject s very important for the Eastern Europe countries, inclusively, for the Republic of Moldova. The cooperation between the clusters opens new doors to implement projects in the renewable energy field", said Lajos Vajda, the president of the Romanian Cluster from Romania, Green Energy.
The memorandum established the key-spheres and the cooperation forms between the entities and targets to promote the biomass energy and strengthen the efforts in providing a clean environment. The document was elaborated to offer assistance within EaPlus program.
The Republic of Moldova Energy Cluster was created in 2017 and was inspired by the Romanian model.
The economic mission of the Romanian entrepreneurs will take place between June 6 and 8. Many entrepreneurs specialized to develop the biomass, the manufactures of renewable energy and so on.
Besides the memorandum, the event also includes meetings with the representatives of the local authorities and discussions regarding the possibility to start some common projects, workshops, working visits and others.
The Energy and Biomass project is realized between 2015 and 2018 and has a budget of 9,42 million Euro, offered by the EU, within the United Nations Program for Development.
