Moldova will persist cooperation with Croatia to develop mutual investment
Moldova and Croatia have today signed a protocol that continues to protect and promote each other's investments.
The protocol provides for the amendment of the article on treatment for investors of both parties and the inclusion of the article on essential security interests.
Thus, the parties expressed their interest in intensifying Moldovan-Croatian economic cooperation and capitalizing on the existing potential, as well as increasing mutual investments.
Minister Cyril Gaburici and Ambassador Davor Vidiš opted to continue the prosperous economic relations between two countries.
On this occasion Davor Vidiš congratulated Chiril Gaburici and wished him success as Minister of Economy and Infrastructure.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the volume of Moldovan-Croatian trade in January-November 2017 registered 2.7 million dollars, up 37.8%, compared to the same period of 2016.
In the Republic of Moldova there are registered 13 enterprises with Croatian capital worth 14.2 million lei.
