Authorities from United Arab Emirates greeted the wish of Republic of Moldova's Government to establish a diplomatic mission in Abu Dhabi, which will contribute to developing the relations between Moldova and Emirates. The declaration was made by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi.

Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan appreciated the active implication of the Moldovan officials in the process of consolidating and reinvigorating bilateral relations.

The officials have reiterated the importance of strengthening bilateral dialogue in mutually advantageous areas, such as trade and socio-cultural relations, in the context of Moldova's Government abolishing visas for Emirati people.

Minister Tudor Ulianovschi underlined the necessity of continuous cooperation in civil aviation and launch negotiations for better legal protection for Moldovans working on the territories of United Arab Emirates.

In order to offer consultations to diaspora of Moldova located in Emirates, Moldovan Minister informed his counterpart of the Government's wish to establish a diplomatic mission in Abu Dhabi.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi is paying a visit to United Arab Emirates during March 26 - 29 2018.
