To complete the creation of the system of addresses, financial sources worth 2.3 million are needed, due to be earmarked from the state budget and local authorities’ budgets, and 500,000 lei will be annually necessary for the subsequent maintenance.
The draft law is meant to ensure the standardization of the procedure of conferring the address and delimit the powers of the authorities participating in the process of giving and changing the addresses. Thus, the document contains regulations on the structure of address, criteria of numbering addressable objects, way the thoroughfares are named, as well as requirements for the content and placement of street indicators.
