The Moldovan citizens are informed the decision of the Ukrainian authorities to temporarily shut the borders to foreigners so as to prevent the coronavirus from spreading. 

"According to the official information of the Ukrainian authorities, Ukraine will close its border for foreigners in two weeks, starting on March 16. 

This restriction will not refer to foreigners and stateless persons in the following categories:

- collaborators of foreign diplomatic missions, consular offices and representatives of international organizations accredited in Ukraine, as well as members of their families;

- persons holding a permanent or temporary residence permit in Ukraine ", according to the statement issued by the Moldovan Foreign Ministry.
