Moldovan detained after trying to illegally cross Ukraine border
A Moldovan was arrested on the evening of October 19th by employees of Tudora Border Police Sector, while he was preparing to cross the border to illegally enter the territory of Ukraine.
The 31-year-old husband said that he lives in Ukraine for 10 years already and every 90 days he returns home. But earlier this month, when planning to cross the Ukraine border via Transnistrian region, the Ukrainian authorities informed him that his name is being banned from entering. That's when he thought of illegally crossing the border with the neighboring country.
A report on determination of the crime was opened on this case. The man risks a fine of up to 400 conventional units, community service work 150 to 200 hours, or imprisonment up to 2 years.
