Moldovan foreign ministry issues message on United Nations Day
The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) today conveyed congratulations to all employees of UN structures, including the ones accredited in Moldova, on the 71st anniversary of the creation of the United Nations Organization, Moldpres reports.
“In the 71 years since its foundation, UNO has been continuously promoting the carrying out of the fundamental goals of the mankind, laid dwn in the UN Charter, as well as keeping peace and security, economic prosperity and human rights. In its capacity of member state, the Republic of Moldova participates and actively contributes to identifying solutions to global problems and challenges faced by the international community,” the message reads.
“Moldova’s authorities highly appreciate the assistance for development provided by the United Nations Organization in different sectors and closely cooperates, from this viewpoint, with UNDP and other programmes and specialized agencies of the UN,” MAEIE’s message to UN structures’ employees also reads.
