A mother with three children, suspected of coronavirus, were hospitalized last night at the Hospital for Infectious Diseases Toma Ciorbă, Prime Minister Ion Chicu announced on a Facebook post. 

The result of the coronavirus test is pending.

"They went shopping in Verona, Italy. One of the children has long-term heart defects". 

According to the Health Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu, Moldova confirms three cases of COVID-19 infection. The patients all returned from Italy. 

There are 14 adults suspected of carrying the deadly virus who are admitted at the Toma Ciorbă Hospital currently. 

Also, six children and two mothers are admitted to the hospital for children contagious diseases, the official said.
