The international day of combating violence against women is marked today in the entire world.

The Moldovan MPs show solidarity with the violence victims. At today’s sitting, they put messages reading "United against violence" on their tables.

According to official data, about 700 orders of protecting the victims undergoing family violence have been issued this year in Moldova. 690 of them were issued to protect women and children, but 9 orders refer to protecting men.

The day of combating violence against women has been marked since 1981.
